Fantasy Tip: Panik ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) failed to reach base in just two games all month, and he finished June with a .327/.389/.475 slash line. He also scored 14 runs and is up to 40 for the season. Panik has excellent contact skills and is worth targeting at FantasyScore when the Giants face a favorable pitching matchup.

Fantasy Tip: Pence ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) still has a ways to go before returning to action. Stay patient and continue stashing him everywhere. Until then, Gregor Blanco ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) benefits the most in the San Fran outfield. He's not a bad sleeper option at a cheap price on FantasyScore against certain right-handed pitchers.

Fantasy Tip: Lincecum ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) went 3-2 and allowed 16 earned runs in 19 1/3 innings in five starts in June before being hit by a line drive in his last outing. He can be dropped in the majority of formats now that he's bumped out of the rotation. Cain ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) is worth an addition in shallow mixed leagues if you have the room for a matchup play. He could pan out as a great sleeper play against the offensively-challenged Miami Marlins in his first start back Thursday, too. However, there's still plenty of risk attached, especially if he has a pitch limit.

San Francisco Giants SPs Matt Cain (elbow) and Jake Peavy (back) will return from the disabled list later this week and re-enter the starting rotation. Manager Bruce Bochy confirmed that Cain will start Thursday, July 2, while Peavy will go Friday, July 3.
Fantasy Tip: The return of Cain ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) and Peavy ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) will push Tim Hudson and Tim Lincecum out of the rotation. Lincecum is headed for the DL, while Hudson is likely to pitch out of the bullpen. Cain will face the Miami Marlins Thursday, making him a risk/reward option on FantasyScore despite it being his first start back. Peavy should be avoided on FantasyScore against the Washington Nationals Friday. Both Cain and Peavy could be successfully used in shallow mixed leagues as matchup plays, with Cain having more fantasy upside. Hudson and Lincecum should be dropped in traditional formats.

Fantasy Tip: Susac ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) can help save some cap space at catcher and could be a profitable sleeper play against Latos, who has struggled at home this year. Posey ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) is a strong play and has three home runs in 18 career at-bats against Latos. Belt ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) is another good option with Latos allowing a slash line of .311/.352/.496 against left-handed hitters in 2015.

San Francisco Giants SP Jake Peavy (back) completed his final scheduled rehab start Friday, June 26, when he allowed five earned runs in the first inning. He has been sidelined since April 17 with a strained lower back. Peavy, along with SP Matt Cain (elbow), could be activated before their game Tuesday, June 30, against the Miami Marlins.
Fantasy Tip: Peavy ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) struggled in two 2015 starts before the injury and in what is expected to be his final rehab start Friday. He pitched well enough to be fantasy viable in deeper mixed leagues in 2014 (3.73 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, 158 K's) and pitching primarily in San Francisco's Pac bell park should help him again this season. Peavy can be an affordable, low-end sleeper play on FantasyScore in the right matchups.

San Francisco Giants SP Tim Lincecum (elbow) is likely to be added to the disabled list after being hit by a line drive in the second inning of the game Sunday, June 28, against the Colorado Rockies. Lincecum told reporters that his elbow felt tight and that he was experiencing swelling. If he is placed on the DL it will be the first time Lincecum has been placed on the DL in his career.
Fantasy Tip: Lincecum ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) hasn't pitched well this season and there was speculation that he could lose his place in the starting rotation when SP Matt Cain (forearm) and SP Jake Peavy (back) returned from injury. Lincecum hasn't been a reliable fantasy performer and now it looks like he will be moving to the bullpen. He can be dropped in shallower mixed leagues.

San Francisco Giants SP Madison Bumgarner improved to 8-4 with a win over the Colorado Rockies Sunday, June 28, allowing two runs on five hits over 7 2/3 innings and striking out eight to surpass 1,000 for his career. He also went 2-for-3 with a solo home run at the plate.
Fantasy Tip: Bumgarner ($9,100, 18.2% of cap) is enjoying his best stretch of the season, and he has allowed two runs or less in four straight starts while striking out 38 batters in 31 innings over the same stretch. When he is dealing, Bumgarner can be one of the toughest pitchers in the game, and he is a borderline must-start at FantasyScore right now.

San Francisco Giants 1B Brandon Belt is in the starting lineup against Colorado Rockies SP Kyle Kendrick Sunday, June 28, batting fifth. C/1B Buster Posey, who started the last two games at first base, will start behind the plate and hit cleanup.
Fantasy Tip: Belt ($5,000, 10.0% of cap) is hitting .313 against Rockies pitching this season and is 2-for-7 (.286) in his career against Kendrick. However, his .195 average during the month of June may be a reason to avoid using him in FantasyScore today. Posey ($5,300, 10.6% of cap) is a career .500 hitter against Kendrick in 12 at-bats.

Fantasy Tip: With Matt Cain and Jake Peavy due to return from the disabled list in the coming week, placing Lincecum ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) on the DL would open up a spot. Meanwhile, Lincecum may not have a spot in the rotation to return to if either Cain or Peavy pitches well. He had been struggling for the last month anyway, and there is a good chance his value at FantasyScore could be completely disappearing.

San Francisco Giants 3B Matt Duffy went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored in a 7-5 win over the Colorado Rockies Saturday, June 27, and he has hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games.
Fantasy Tip: Duffy ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) has 10 RBI and 11 runs scored during the stretch, and he has been improving every month. He has been providing great value for the price at FantasyScore, and he could have another solid game Sunday when Colorado starts Kyle Kendrick, who owns an ugly 5.96 ERA on the year.
Sat, 27 Jun 2015 13:45:43 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Lincecum ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) allowed three runs in less than two innings, and his rotation spot was already in jeopardy. This may seal his fate for the near future.
Sat, 27 Jun 2015 12:48:32 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Blanco ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) is hitting .368 over the last seven days and is batting .352 at home this season. He is worth considering in FantasyScore as a low-cost outfield option. Belt ($5,000, 10.0% of cap) has had a June he'd like to forget, batting just .195 with two homers and 10 RBIs.
Sat, 27 Jun 2015 12:35:45 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Susac ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) is batting .367 during the month of June and .455 over the past week, so it's easy to see why the Giants want to keep his bat in the lineup. He batted seventh Friday and has been moved up to the No. 5 spot this afternoon. Posey ($5,300, 10.6% of cap) is hitting .286 with three homers and 21 RBIs this month and remains a high-end catcher in all fantasy formats.
Sat, 27 Jun 2015 12:35:36 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Less than 24 hours ago, it appeared as though there was a possibility of Pagan ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) landing on the disabled list but apparently his condition improved considerably overnight. FantasyScore owners should avoid using him today so that he can prove that he is 100 percent healthy.
