Fantasy Tip: Souza ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) hasn't played since Sunday, and he's hitting only .223 (33-for-148) with seven home runs and 17 RBI for the Rays. His mix of speed and power always makes him worth a selection as a value play on FantasyScore, though. However, you may want to sit him out in this one in his return to action against Gonzalez, who righties are only hitting .227 (22-for-97) against this year.

Fantasy Tip: Elmore ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has picked up seven hits and six RBI over his last five games and is receiving regular playing time. Elmore could be an option for owners on FantasyScore looking to save some money.

Fantasy Tip: Cabrera ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) has not been in the lineup for the past few games because of his injury. Cabrera is hitting only .213 on the season and is not a great option on FantasyScore at this time.

Fantasy Tip: Moore should be scooped up and stashed in the majority of leagues. FantasyScore owners may be inclined to give Moore a few starts to prove himself upon returning the majors, but he'll have tremendous upside while being discounted early on.

Tampa Bay Rays RP Brad Boxberger was hit with his second straight loss after allowing two walks and a three-run home run to the Seattle Mariners in the ninth inning Wednesday, May 27. It was a non-save situation, but Boxberger has now allowed four earned runs in two innings in back-to-back outings, and his ERA now stands at 2.95 on the season.
Fantasy Tip: Boxberger had been lights out before his back-to-back losses this week, and it has come at the worst possible time for him and his owners, with Jake McGee back in the fold. McGee could eventually be eased back into the closer's role, and owning both relievers is the ideal situation to be in.

Fantasy Tip: Archer ($8,200, 16.4% of cap) has allowed only four earned runs over the last four games and has had five scoreless outings this season. Archer is scheduled to face the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in his next start and could be a solid option on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Moore should be stashed in all formats, as he's getting close to making his 2015 season debut after coming back from Tommy John surgery. He is more than a year removed from the procedure, too, which means he should have a relatively painless transition back to the rotation. He could be a big boost to your pitching staff in the second half.

Tampa Bay Rays OF Steven Souza (wrist) is out of the starting lineup again Wednesday, May 27. OF Brandon Guyer is starting in right field and hitting eighth in the batting order against Seattle Mariners SP Felix Hernandez.
Fantasy Tip: Guyer ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) is hitting a respectable .276 (29-for-105) with two home runs and 12 RBI, but he should be left off all FantasyScore rosters while facing King Felix and hitting at the bottom of the order.
Wed, 27 May 2015 09:54:57 -0700
Tampa Bay Rays SS Asdrubal Cabrera (groin) remains out of the starting lineup Wednesday, May 27. 2B Nick Franklin is starting at the 6 and hitting sixth in the batting order against Seattle Mariners SP Felix Hernandez.
Fantasy Tip: Ignore Franklin ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) everywhere.
Wed, 27 May 2015 07:33:58 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Typically, batting fourth would be an added incentive to take a speculative flier on DeJesus ($3,600, 7.2% of cap). However, facing ace Felix Hernandez mitigates the fantasy boost, and DeJesus should be viewed as a high-risk option in FantasyScore contests Wednesday.
Tue, 26 May 2015 22:19:58 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Elmore ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has picked up seven hits and six RBI over his last four games. Elmore is not the best option for owners on FantasyScore, but he could be a cheap option if he continues to produce at the plate.
Tue, 26 May 2015 22:15:56 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Longoria ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) is currently on a 10-game hitting streak and has nine RBI during that span. Longoria could be a solid starting option on FantasyScore on most nights.
Tue, 26 May 2015 15:34:52 -0700
Tampa Bay Rays OF Joey Butler will serve as the designated hitter and bat second in the order Tuesday, May 26, against the Seattle Mariners. OF Kevin Kiermaier was dropped to seventh in the order against Mariners LHP J.A. Happ.
Fantasy Tip: Butler ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) has a .302 batting average on the season, but he's hitting just .200 against lefties. The reverse split can likely be blamed on a small 20-game sample, and Butler can be considered for use in GPP tournaments.

Tampa Bay Rays SS Asdrubal Cabrera (groin) remains out of the starting lineup Tuesday, May 26. He was doing running drills before the game. Cabrera could return Friday, May 29, but manager Kevin Cash said he could use him Tuesday off the bench.
Fantasy Tip: Tim Beckham ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) is starting at shortstop and hitting fifth in the lineup tonight. He's a low-end shortstop option at FantasyScore.
Tue, 26 May 2015 13:50:27 -0700
Tampa Bay Rays OF Steven Souza (wrist) remains out of the lineup again Tuesday, May 26. OF Brandon Guyer is starting in right field and hitting leadoff against Seattle Mariners SP J.A. Happ, while 2B Jake Elmore is starting in left field and hitting sixth in the batting order.
Fantasy Tip: Souza is doing baseball activities and has been feeling better, so he could return any day now. Guyer ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) and Elmore are both very weak FantasyScore picks against Happ tonight.
