Fantasy Tip: Encarnacion is enjoying a red-hot June, posting five doubles with 11 home runs and 29 RBIs in 23 games in the month of June. In DFS, he is a must-start regardless of the salary while running hot.

Fantasy Tip: Tulo is having a nightmare season, hitting just .214. If you have him on your fantasy roster and stuck it out with him this far, you cannot drop him now. However, you might want to keep him reserved until he shows some signs of life.

Toronto Blue Jays SP Marco Estrada allowed three earned runs, five hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision Monday, June 27, against the Colorado Rockies. He threw 62 of his 91 pitches for strikes.
Fantasy Tip: Estrada has managed eight straight quality starts dating back to May 14. He is humming along with a 2.81 ERA and 0.99 WHIP overall, emerging as a must-start fantasy option across all formats.

Fantasy Tip: Smoak has played just once in the last six games with the Blue Jays facing four left-handed pitchers. The first baseman is an attractive power option in deep mixed and AL-only leagues when in the starting lineup in a potent offense, though. Encarnacion makes for a fine play in all fantasy formats while at Coors Field this week.

Fantasy Tip: Floyd has been stuck in a relief role all year, and unless he ends up as a starter at some point, he can be ignored in all fantasy leagues.

Toronto Blue Jays C Russell Martin is back in the starting lineup against Chicago White Sox SP Chris Sale Sunday, June 26. In addition, OF Junior Lake is batting eighth and playing right field, while INF Darwin Barney is batting ninth and playing shortstop. SS Troy Tulowitzki will bat sixth and serve as the designated hitter.
Fantasy Tip: Martin is batting .264 with three home runs and 14 RBI in 53 at-bats this month and makes a viable catching option today. Barney has cooled off at the plate following a hot start and is hitting .250 through 60 at-bats in June. Lake has only had two at-bats since joining the Jays and should be strictly viewed as desperation salary cap relief.

Toronto Blue Jays 1B Edwin Encarnacion scored twice and finished 3-for-4 with a RBI double in the first inning, a two-run single in the fourth and an RBI double in the ninth against the Chicago White Sox on Saturday, June 25.
Fantasy Tip: This is how to make a statement in a contract year. Encarnacion leads the majors with 66 RBI, including 26 in June, and has nine homers to go along with 14 extra-base hits this month as well. He is an elite option in every format and needs to be in fantasy lineups every day.

Toronto Blue Jays 2B Devon Travis turned in his seventh multi-hit effort over his last 10 games Saturday, June 25, against the Chicago White Sox, going 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored.
Fantasy Tip: Travis started slow following his long stint on the disabled list, but he has lifted his average from .150 to .265 during the course of his hot streak - during which time he has also clubbed three homers. He's in a great spot of the lineup to score runs as well, batting in front of Josh Donaldson and Edwin Encarnacion. Owners need to find a spot in their lineups for him.

Fantasy Tip: Thole has only one hit in his last 18 at-bats and is not a strong fantasy candidate in any league.

Toronto Blue Jays 1B Justin Smoak is not in the starting lineup against Chicago White Sox SP Miguel Gonzalez Saturday, June 25. 1B Edwin Encarnacion will start at first base, while 3B Josh Donaldson will serve as the designated hitter. 2B Ryan Goins will start at third base and is batting eighth.
Fantasy Tip: Goins is hitting only .175 this season and probably should be avoided in most fantasy leagues. Encarnacion and Donaldson should be a starter in all fantasy leagues.
Fri, 24 Jun 2016 21:37:03 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Smoak was a fringe option in deeper leagues to begin with, so don't hesitate to cut him loose if he is going to miss some time.

Toronto Blue Jays RPs Brett Cecil (triceps) and Franklin Morales (shoulder) will continue their rehab assignments with Class AAA Buffalo, after both hurlers made appearances for Class A Dunedin Thursday, June 23.
Fantasy Tip: Of the two southpaws, Cecil has the greater fantasy value at this point in AL-only fantasy leagues, because of his ability to contribute in the ERA and WHIP categories. Morales has experience as a starter but will likely be used as a reliever when he returns from the disabled list.
Fri, 24 Jun 2016 13:57:35 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Travis batted higher in the lineup the past two games, so the drop is a slight hit to his fantasy stock. He's still a solid option in all formats, though. Travis has an active 14-for-35 run at the plate with four runs, two home runs and nine RBI with a 1.131 OPS.
Fri, 24 Jun 2016 13:52:44 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Carrera remains a solid fantasy option in deep mixed and AL-only leagues because of his uptick in playing time with Jose Bautista on the disabled list with turf toe. Carrera's .314/.386/.441 slash line plays nicely atop a potent Toronto lineup, too.
Fri, 24 Jun 2016 13:47:55 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Lake owns an underwhelming .244/.328/.387 slash line through 271 plate appearances with Buffalo, and he doesn't project to see much playing time with Toronto. He is a desperation add in all fantasy formats. Ceciliani should be replaced in all leagues.
