NFL | Garrett Grayson climbing boards

Sun, 26 Apr 2015 05:55:45 -0700

Former Colorado State QB Garrett Grayson has been climbing draft boards and could be selected in the first or second round. Grayson has drawn some comparisons to Oakland Raiders QB Derek Carr.

Fantasy Tip: Grayson is noted for his decision-making and his athleticism. Even if he ends up in the best situation possible after the NFL Draft, Grayson is nothing more than a late-round consideration in two-quarterback leagues.

NFL | Jameis Winston compared to QB bust

Fri, 24 Apr 2015 14:57:40 -0700

Florida State QB Jameis Winston has been compared to former NFL QB JaMarcus Russell by one longtime NFL executive. "Lack of focus by JaMarcus is what I see in Winston," the personnel man said. "They're physically talented, but during the course of a game they kind of lose their focus and just put the ball up for grabs. I see the body. I see the lack of focus. I see the same coach and system. Only Winston's not as good an athlete and his arm isn't as strong as JaMarcus'."

Fantasy Tip: Winston is believed to be the leading candidate to be selected first overall in the 2015 NFL Draft, but he will enter the league with some off-field issues. Winston likely will compete for the starting job but likely will only be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback next season.
