Baltimore Ravens rookie TE Crockett Gillmore will receive the start at tight end in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Ravens appear to have plenty of confidence in him. "He gets better every day as a receiver," head coach John Harbaugh said. "He's not the fastest guy in the world --- not to be confused with a speed merchant -- but he has good hands. He has very good body control. The big tight ends are really valuable in this league because they have catch radius and they can get away from a defender. It's hard to cover them one-on-one. That'd be a big asset for us if he could keep growing that way." However, FB Kyle Juszczyk could be the one that replaces TE Owen Daniels (knee) in the passing game. Juszczyk is more polished as a receiver than Gillmore and can play down the seam. Juszczyk led the team with 10 catches for 90 yards in the preseason. The Bengals have allowed opposing tight ends to average 121 receiving yards and four touchdowns in the last three weeks.
Fantasy Tip: Both Gillmore and Juszcyzk are at basement-level prices at FantasyScore, but neither should be relied on as your tight end for the week.

Baltimore Ravens DE Chris Canty (wrist) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 24, and has been ruled out for Week 8. OT Eugene Monroe (knee), OG Kelechi Osemele (knee) and LB Daryl Smith (non-injury) fully participated in practice and are listed as probable.

Fantasy Tip: Smith was just receiving a day off earlier in the week and should be able to play. Smith could receive more targets in the game since Owen Daniels will not be able to play. Smith has a price of $6,800 on FantasyScore and could be a solid starting option for owners.

Baltimore Ravens TE Owen Daniels (knee) underwent a cleanup procedure on his knee and will not play in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Head coach John Harbaugh said he doesn't expect Daniels to miss much time.
Fantasy Tip: Daniels' absence means Steve Smith ($6,800) and Torrey Smith ($5,800) should see an uptick in targets from Joe Flacco. Justin Forsett ($5,800) is a great play at FantasyScore, and Bernard Pierce ($4,200) could be more involved, as well.

Fantasy Tip: Smith is likely taking a veteran day of rest leading up to Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Smith will cost you $6,800 (13.6% of cap) this weekend at FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Daniels is missing the second straight day of practice, so his status for Week 8 is uncertain. Daniels costs $5,700 on FantasyScore, but owners should consider using their money on healthier options.

Fantasy Tip: Daniels had a season-high six catches (nine targets) for 58 yards and a touchdown in Week 7. Keep tabs on his practice status the rest of the week, but his knee ailment doesn't appear to be serious. Daniels costs $5,700 (11.4% of cap) at FantasyScore this weekend.
