Buffalo Bills WR Sammy Watkins (foot) was noncommittal about his status for training camp. Watkins said if he's not ready for training camp then he'll get ready for the first game of the regular season.
Fantasy Tip: As long as Watkins doesn't suffer any setbacks, he's worth a high-end WR2 selection in fantasy drafts as the Bills' only viable receiving threat.

Buffalo Bills TE Nick O'Leary likely will need a strong performance during training camp if he wants a chance to make the 53-man roster. He is competing for the No. 2 tight end job, but TEs Blake Annen and Chris Gragg received more snaps during offseason workouts.

Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor and the Bills are both open to an in-season extension, according to a source. Talks have been ongoing through the offseason, but an extension is not expected before the season starts.
Fantasy Tip: Taylor was one of the more pleasant surprises in football last year. He has added value with his running ability and is a borderline starting fantasy quarterback this year.

Fantasy Tip: Lewis is down the depth chart, but he has the potential to move up into a meaningful role. For now he is not worth drafting in most fantasy leagues, but with a strong training camp and preseason, and perhaps an injury or two, he could have fantasy appeal.

Buffalo Bills RB Karlos Williams was carrying extra weight during minicamp, and said he ate so his pregnant fiance wouldn't feel bad. He has plenty of time to get into shape, but he'll need to be in top form to hold off hungry RBs Mike Gillislee, James Wilder Jr. and Jonathan Williams.
Fantasy Tip: Williams looked like a No. 1 tailback last season when given the chance to carry the load, but the fact he isn't in top shape is a concern. Wait to see how he shapes up in training camp and the preseason before risking anything more than a late-round flier on him.

Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor feels he will restore a winning tradition in Buffalo, and he feels he can do exactly what Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton did last season. "I am 100 percent confident that I can do that. Cam played very well and willed his team. He took his team to the game that everyone who plays this game wants to get to. I commend him for that. We came in the same year so I definitely kept up with him. We became friends throughout our time in the league. Yes, I am 100 percent confident I can do the things that he did," Taylor said.
Fantasy Tip: Taylor has the potential to be a Top 10 quarterback at his position, but fantasy owners will want to draft him as a QB2 heading into the season.

Fantasy Tip: Watkins is a legit receiver, but his cluster of leg injuries is starting to become concerning. If he's back for training camp and nothing else pops up, he's a solid WR2 in fantasy.

Buffalo Bills CB Stephon Gilmore will not be offered a deal similar to the five-year, $75 million Washington Redskins CB Josh Norman received this offseason, according to sources. The Bills may be willing to offer Gilmore $12.5 to $13 million per season in a new deal but are not willing to offer $15 million per season.
