Eagles | Carson Wentz undergoes knee surgery

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (knee) underwent surgery to repair his torn ACL on Wednesday, Dec. 13.
If there is any good news to come from this, it is that the swelling was minor enough so Wentz was able to have the surgery three days after suffering the injury. Most ACL recoveries take between nine and 12 months, so he'll be racing against the clock to be ready for training camp in 2018. Assuming he doesn't encounter any setbacks along the way, he should be viewed as a top-five fantasy quarterback next summer.
